Denver lounges: what to know before you go
Denver is a rare three-way battleground: United treats it as a major hub, Southwest moves enormous volume, and Frontier is based here — but for lounges, United Clubs dominate. DIA's layout is three midfield concourses (A, B, C) connected to the main terminal by an underground train, and Concourse B is United's stronghold with multiple clubs. Concourse A is the international and Southwest-heavy pier and is where you'll find the independent options, including a Plaza Premium-style lounge and the walkway to the terminal. A DEN-specific tip: the A-Bridge lets you walk between the terminal and Concourse A without the train, and Concourse A tends to be calmer than the perpetually busy B. Altitude plus dry air makes hydration matter more than you'd expect — the lounges' water and quiet space are worth using even on a short stop. Card-only travelers do reasonably well here thanks to the independent lounges on A, but if you fly United out of Denver regularly, a United Club membership or the United Club Infinite card pays off fast given how many clubs sit in your path.
