How we make money — and why it never changes the answer
Lounge Intelligence is free to use. This page explains exactly how that works and the line we will not cross.
Compensation never influences our editorial content, recommendations, rankings, or the lounge data we publish. Our Best Card ranking reflects value to you and nothing else. No card pays to appear, and no card pays to rank higher. If the best card for you earns us nothing, that is still the card we show first.
What an affiliate link is
When this site links to a credit-card offer, that link may carry a tracking tag identifying Lounge Intelligence as the referrer. If you click through and are approved for the card on the issuer's own site, the issuer may pay us a commission. The price, terms, fees, and approval decision are exactly the same whether you use our link or go to the issuer directly — you never pay more, and we never see your application.
This is the standard arrangement disclosed under the U.S. Federal Trade Commission's guidance on material connections. We disclose it plainly so you can weigh it for yourself.
What compensation does not change
- It does not change which card ranks first — that is driven by our value model, not by what pays us.
- It does not change the lounge access rules, eligibility results, or freshness labels we publish.
- It does not buy a card a spot on the site. We list cards because they are relevant, not because of a deal.
- It does not change the price, fees, or terms you receive from the issuer.
Card terms come from the issuer
Card terms, annual fees, APRs, rewards, and benefits are set by the issuer and change frequently. We make no warranty that any figure on this site is current or complete. Always verify current terms on the issuer's official site before applying.
